Bare Naked Kitties

...now that's a pile of nude.

Hairless Cats otherwise known as Sphynx are certainly an acquired taste. I find them to be cute in a funny, brainy, alien sorta way. They are apparently very great cuddlers, and because of their lack of fur tend to cling to humans for their warmth and loove sleeping under the covers. As I was looking through photos of them I noticed they most always have a scowl on their faces, I wonder if they are bitter and cold more often than not. I adore all living creatures and nudie kitties are no exception. Thoughts?

** it appears to me that nude kitties favorite expression is the stink eye.

Certainly strange looking but I'm with you. I'm such an animal lover that I'd probably get attached quick. Never seen one in person before though... maybe they just photograph badly? :)

I've always found them rather ugly but it isn't their fault - is this a manmade bread do you reckon? I hope not...

They still deserve love though and I'm sure if I ever met one I would love it.

Stink EYE!!!!!!!!!!!
(Oh man I felt that lil wink.)
I totally want one. I have a hairless chiwa who clings on to me for warmth... now all i need is a hairless scowl machine. They look like they'd be sticky- but in a good way. There's too many awesome pictures here to comment- but i think the first one is my fave.

ps. i have a slight beef with you. Where is the ball hangover kitty?

I've never seen one in person either... although I've always been curious about them.

I give these kitties two thumbs up. I mean the problem I have with cats is that I am alergic to them so this solves that. I think they are super adorable.

I know I'm not meant to laugh but a couple of these nudie pussy cats are hilarious!! I bet they're sweet though - I'm a hopeless cat fancier and so any cat is A.O.K. in my books!!

I love these cats, especially the younger ones whose wrinkled heads look like brains. It's nice that they like cuddling up to humans, though it does seem a bit weird to purposefuly breed an animal that only ever feels comfortable when humans are around...

I absolutely LOVE this breed of cats. I think they are soooo cute. Even the little ones with lots of wrinkles. I love kitties that like to cuddle so this cat would be purrrfect for me. I've never seen one in person and hear they are quite expensive. Starting at 1K. But I bet they are so worth it.

some of your pictures of "sphynx" cats are actually a different breed of cat, the kahona, or hawaiian hairless cat. unlike the sphynx, which has some very soft peach fuzz, the kahona cat has absolutely no hair follicles, and feel like rubber. the insanely wrinkled kittens with the folded years, and the second and third pics from the bottom are the kahona cats.

I had a Cornish Rex who was one of the most wonderful cats I've ever had. They have a reputation as being real clowns, and Sam certainly was. Very affectionate, very lively, and very funny.
