...I have such a love/hate relationship with Winter.

I ADORE the first of the season; the first snowfalls are the most peaceful, most beautiful time of year. I love gazing out the window, being utterly entranced by the snowflakes falling from the sky. But being here in the Great North of Canada, the winter lasts far too long for my liking. The cold gets to be too much, and getting to and from home can sometimes be quite dangerous. One thing I do like about the cold outdoors is that it makes your home all the more cozy, and its fun to stay indoors under warm blankets especially during snowstorms. We've only had a few light snowfalls that melt really quickly so far, but I'm sure there is plenty ahead.

...What kind of winters do you have? Does it snow where you live? Do you enjoy it? I'm curious, fill me in...I'm nosy like that. ;D

...Oh and Kitties and Snow is just another pile of sweetness that melts my heart like icicles.

I love all of these kitty images!

Winter here in Australia isn't very cold compared to other countries. It never snows where I am (Queensland). I'm happy that it doesn't get too cold here but it just means that our Summer months are extreme. As in really really hot! And Christmas falls during Summer here. I'd love to one day experience a white Christmas! It looks so pretty!

I love the kitties in the snow! So cute!!! :) We don't get a lot of snow here - we had maybe 3 days this year with snow - and the whole of London shut down - we only had like an inch or something...it was rather stupid...but we're not really geared up for having it so it was a bit of a surprise!!! xxx

Oh my goodness they are all so adorable, now I want it to snow so I can take my kitty outside, lol. I have a love/hate relationship too. I love layering my clothing, the winter snow, but I HATE the cold weather - to chilly!!!

GASP! these kitty and snow shots are so cool! it is still rather warm where i live -- about 70 degrees. no snow here -- ever! and my wussy fat kitties would probably not fair so well in the snow. hahahah. they are not so tough -- just like their mama. :)

I live in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, just northwest of New Orleans, and we almost never get snow. But we got some last December and there's a chance we'll get some tomorrow! It barely lasts a day and the whole city is at a standstill cuz, well, we don't know how to drive when there's snow. Oh, we spell snow "SNEAUX"!!!

we have some snow - the first year i was here it only snowed two times! but last year it was 12 or 13 times.the bummer thing is that we got a lot of ice storms! boooo
either way these photos make me want to take grace out in the snow. considering she hasnt been outdoors in 4 years that could be interesting!

The coolest it gets here is about 70 degrees in the day and about ten degrees cooler in the evening but I think I would cry if I ever woke up to a white christmas.

This time I think it is impossible to pick a fav... all the snow cats are fabulous!

I too have a love/hate relationship with the snow. It is so beautiful and one of my favorite things about a snowy day is how quiet everything is. That is so magical to me.

I grew up in Canada too.... I remember the winters there! Here in the high desert it gets very cold... very cold! And we get lots of snow. In fact there is a bit of snow in my neighbors yard right now from last week. I drive a school bus for my day job so I am outside all day long. When it snows it is both fun and a bit frightening.

But it is all worth it... for the magic :D

AH! My pussy cat fix for the weekend!! Thank you!! These are so lovely - impossible to choose a fave! In Sydney, our winter's are heaven. It's cool to cold but nearly always with a brilliant blue sky. Winter is the secret gorgeous time to visit Sydney if you're every thinking of it - much better than stinky hot summer in my opinion!! Have a great weekend!!

Too cute! No snow here where I live (you have to go up into the mountains for it) but now I'm wondering how George would get in the snow. So adorable.
